The hermetically sealed drive shaft
One of the top die-cast metal corner pieces features a sealed shaft outlet for the external operating pulley. The shaft is of polished, stainless steel and fitted with two high-performance hydraulic seals.

The exterior nylon operating pulley is fitted to the stainless steel shaft at the top corner of the sealed unit.
